The Black Forest Inn is located in Lycoming County and with 60% of our area covered by state forest, state parks or state game lands, our guests will enjoy all kinds of outdoor recreation. You will find anything from hunting to fishing, hiking, backpacking, biking, canoeing, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and horseback riding. Nowhere else in the commonwealth can you find so much wild land with steep mountains, deep canyons, secluded wooded valleys and ice cold streams. For those looking for a more relaxing adventure, take a drive and enjoy the quaint small town atmosphere of our area. Photographers will enjoy the beautiful scenery throughout this area, especially in the Fall. You will find a spectacular view from Hyner View State Park near Renovo, where you can catch a glimpse of hang gliders floating about.

For the shoppers, we have the Woolrich Outlet Store, as well as many specialty shops. Don't forget to leave room for a visit to the Piper Aviation Museum and Heisey Museum.
